Keeping Your Heart Healthy at Every Age
Learn How To Keep Your Heart Healthy at Every Age
This free event includes:
Thursday, May 14
Whether you’re 20-something, 70-something, or somewhere in between, you could be at risk for heart disease. Men can develop it. Women can develop it. Even teens. It’s the leading cause of death in the United States, and an equal opportunity disease — one that affects people of all different ages and backgrounds. So what better time than now to do something good for your heart: register early and save your seat for our FREE heart healthy dinner and panel discussion.
At our heart-healthy event, you’ll have the opportunity to meet, learn from and ask questions of several of our Stony Brook University Heart Institute cardiologists and other heart experts. They’ll be on hand to explain risk factors, share prevention tips, tell you what signs and symptoms to look for and explain the latest treatment options available. When you register, submit a heart-health question and we'll do our best to address as many questions as possible during the event.
This event is open to the public. Attendees will receive a validation for free parking. For more information, call (631) 444-4000. Registration required.
First 200 to register will receive a heart-healthy cookbook.
