Information Desk and Concierge Services

The Information Desk, located on Level 5, ground level of the Hospital, provides guests with Visitor Passes.  Please visit the Information Desk upon arrival to ask for a Visitor Pass, which you will need in order to enter the hospital patient care areas.  Our staff can also inform you of any special visiting hours.  To contact us, please call 444-7412.

Concierge Service

The Concierge Services staff is available to help you should you have any questions, need directions, or need any help beyond the routine of your medical care. To reach the Concierge Desk, call 4-7412.

Mail and Flowers

Concierge Services delivers flowers and mail sent to you while you are a patient. Latex balloons are not allowed in Hospital rooms.
Mail is delivered on weekdays only.
Please ask family and friends to address any deliveries as follows:

“Your name, Stony Brook University Hospital, your floor and room number, Stony Brook, NY 11794.” Mail received after you return home will be sent to your home address. On the day you leave the Hospital, please ask if any mail or delivery has arrived for you.

Guest Lodging

Please call Concierge Services Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 8:30 pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 am to 8:30 pm for information about motels, hotels, and bed and breakfast lodges in the area.  You can also visit the website for a listing of local accommodations, click here.
