Stony Brook Medicine Volunteers
We are proud of the many individuals who dedicate their time, knowledge, talents and resources to help the Stony Brook Medicine community.
Our Stony Brook University Hospital Volunteers provide help each year caring for our patients and spending time with patient family members. Each year, nearly 700 Junior and Senior Volunteers assist staff with the day-to-day work that contributes to a quality healthcare experience for patients and families.
For more than 25 years, the Stony Brook University Hospital Auxiliary has supported the hospital in providing outstanding medical care to all its patients. Learn more about the dedicated members of the Stony Brook University Hospital Auxiliary.
The Stony Brook Stitchers are members of the faculty, staff, students and friends of Stony Brook University and Stony Brook Medicine. The members volunteer their time, energy and creativity to create hand-made items for those in physical, emotional or spiritual need here within the Stony Brook University Community.
The need for blood and platelets is a constant one locally and nationally. When you donate blood at the Stony Brook Blood Bank, your precious gift is given directly to a patient in need. We welcome the members of the community to become donors and are extremely grateful to all of our employees, friends from the community, and students who assist our Blood Bank.
Philanthropy reflects people’s passion. It drives institutions. It drives success. Please be part of our success.
