Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, Dr. David Wallach has over 10 years of experience providing comprehensive diagnostic and surgical services for a wide range of pediatric orthopaedic conditions. He is an Assistant Professor in the Stony Brook University School of Medicine. Dr. Wallach has special expertise in the surgical management of pediatric spinal deformity, such as scoliosis, kyphosis, spondylolisthesis and flatback syndrome. He received his undergraduate degree in history from Franklin and Marshall College in Pennsylvania, and then graduated with his medical degree from Albany Medical College. Dr. Wallach then completed an internship and residency training in Orthopaedics at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York, where he received the Resident Research Award, and a fellowship in Pediatric Orthopaedics at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia to further specialize his training.
Dr. Wallach has presented his research at various society meetings and conferences, and has had many articles published in major medical journals. He is also a Fellow in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, a Candidate Fellow in the Scoliosis Research Society, and a member of the Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America.
