Stony Brook University Logos
These logos are being made available for use on official Stony Brook publications, documents, and Web sites. As officially approved symbols of Stony Brook University, logos should be used appropriately and in preference to homegrown or outdated images. Please replace any previous versions you may be using with the logos below as appropriate.

Logos for Web and Electronic Media
This downloadable .zip file includes all Stony Brook University logos in png and jpg format.
Formats
The logos are available in a variety of colors and formats for both print and online use. The colors for web are slightly different than for print so please use appropriate files.
EPS format: These files are for use with high-end graphics programs to create printed presentations, brochures, and other literature. A program like Adobe Illustrator is necessary to open and manipulate the files. You may adjust the size of the image, but must maintain the aspect ratio. Please do not make any other modifications to these files.
TIFF format: These files are appropriate for use in most word processing and desktop publishing applications. You may adjust the size of the image (can be made smaller, but not larger), but must maintain the aspect ratio. Please do not make any other modifications to these files.
PNG format: These files are intended for use on official University web pages. They should not be used on any personal pages. Please do not modify these files other than to resize them.
JPG format: There are JPG files for print and for web. The colors for web are slightly different than for print so please use appropriate files.
EPS files may only be used by Stony Brook University faculty or staff members.
