Patchogue Arts Council • Museum of Contemporary Art LI, Patchogue
Artist Anu Annam, recipient of the 2023 New York State Council on the Arts Interdisciplinary Artist Award, will host a free Halloween event offering participatory art-making and live performance. The event explores the intersections of gender identity and disability.
Long Island Museum, Stony Brook
Experience over 4,000 years of non-binary and queer representation throughout epic & contemporary South Asian art & culture via traditional Hindu and modern Bharatanatyam dance, Indian drag performance, music, cuisine, participatory art-making, and a panel discussion, as envisioned by South Asian American artist, Anu Annam, recipient of the 2023 New York State Council on the Arts Interdisciplinary Artist Award. This free, reservation-only event is sponsored in partnership with Patchogue Arts Council Museum of Contemporary Art LI.

Stony Brook Medicine LGBTQ+ Committee Co-Chair Adam Gonzalez and clinical professionals will lead a post-show talk with members of the QueerLI Collective about mental health and sexual health in the LGBTQ+ Community.
