If you are experiencing symptoms and/or have mpox and require medical attention, please go to an emergency room or urgent care center. Please call the ER or urgent care center in advance to alert the staff.

Medical Questions About Side Effects
If you have medically related questions, such as vaccination side effects and/or adverse reactions from the mpox vaccine, we recommend that you:
- Please contact your primary care physician, who is the appropriate and best provider to answer your questions.
- Please DO NOT contact The Edie Windsor Healthcare Center directly. Unfortunately, we cannot answer questions for individuals who are not established patients of our clinic.
- If you do not have a primary care physician or your primary care physician does not answer your questions, please seek care at an urgent care clinic or call the Suffolk County Department of Health at 311.
