About Kristen Curran
Kristen provides services to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. She has worked in a variety of settings, including early intervention, school-aged (CPSE and CSE), subacute rehab, skilled nursing, and acute care. She began working at Stony Brook Hospital in 2020, where she currently treats pediatrics and adults with a variety of speech, language, and swallowing disorders. She is especially interested in performing Video Fluoroscopic Swallowing Studies (VFSS) and Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES). She is also a member of the ALS Multidisciplinary team. In her free time, Kristen enjoys making ceramics on the pottery wheel, hiking, and traveling.
