You may be eligible to participate in one our clinical trials to treat this painful problem.
Trial 1: Extended release steroid injections
Injections of an extended release steroid into the thumb joint will be provided to one half of the patients enrolled.
If you do NOT receive this steroid, after three (3) months, you can choose to receive it if you wish to do so.

Trial 2: Hemp extract
Cannabinoid for pain (from hemp extract) will be applied to the thumb joint in the form of a tape.
This will be provided to all patients enrolled.
