Dr. Lynch is the Vice President and Biotechnology Equity Analyst at General American Investors, Inc. She earned her Bachelor of Sciences in Biological Sciences and her Ph.D. in Molecular Microbiology from Stony Brook University and has over forty years of experience in biotechnology and cancer research. Much of Dr. Lynch's research was conducted at Stony Brook University School of Medicine's Department of Molecular Microbiology and in the Division of Solid Tumor Immunology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. In addition to her research experience, Dr. Lynch has served as an independent consultant to investment funds, where she worked with portfolio managers interested in investing in the biotechnology equity sector.
Dr. Lynch is also the President and founder of Old Field Farm, Ltd., a nonprofit organization created to restore and operate Old Field Farm County Parkland as a living model for preserving historic structures and open space and promoting equestrian history and cultural interests. She is the recipient of community and equestrian sportsmanship awards and, in 2009, was named Stony Brook University's Alumni of the Year.
