Rev. Adams has worked in many aspects at Stony Brook University including as a member of the Stony Brook University Hospital Quality Assessment Review Board (QARB). His years of community service include serving on the boards of many organizations including the Brookhaven Branch NAACP; Middle Island Alliance; Youth Awareness Inc.; Town of Brookhaven Youth Project Directors, and Suffolk County Youth Project Directors. He has received numerous accolades for his community involvement including Newsday’s ‘Person of the Century Everyday Hero.’ Rev. Adams has taught at Virginia Union School of Theology (Eastern Baptist School of Religion) and is a graduate of Princeton Theological Seminary and Drew University.
