- Located in Setauket, the Frank Melville Memorial Park is a beautiful place to visit to inspire creativity. Additionally, there are many creative events offered, such as gentle yoga, a writing group, Qigong and Taichi, and meditation. There are also summer programs about gardening and nature as well as music.

- Dance Magic Ballroom Dance Studio
- Ballroom, Latin, and Swing dancing lessons in St. James, Suffolk County. Owned by U.S. Champion Ginny Rae and assisted by husband Peter, this is an independent dance studio that allows for fun while learning to dance at low tuition. They offer group classes and private lessons for ballroom dancing, Latin dancing, salsa dancing, swing dancing, and so much more.

- Eva Simpson-Abrams combines psychotherapy together with music therapy when needed for helping people with depression, anxiety, and trauma. Music therapy alone can also be used as a modality to help children with ADD, Spectrum disorders, as well as adults with neurologic disorders such as Parkinson's and elderly with dementia.
- Art center: The Brick Clay Studio & Gallery
- A non-profit art collective organization with the goal to establish cooperative art education center and gallery to allow potters to work and share ideas. They offer classes in both hand-building and wheel throwing to both new and experienced potters. The gallery provides a space to present artwork to the community.
