We have crafted administrative policies to set guidelines for waste disposal, chemical spills, re-use and recycling, and environmentally preferable purchasing. Our policies demonstrate that we will continue working to be an environmental leader in all aspects of our operations. In addition, we have pledged to participate in the Healthier Hospitals Initiative’s Engaged Leadership Challenge and its Leaner Energy Challenge. We monitor, evaluate and report our practices as they relate to these environmental commitments we’ve made.
