- AIDSinfo offers information on HIV/AIDS treatment, prevention and research. AIDSinfo is a service of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and is maintained by the National Library of Medicine (NLM), which is part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
- The Centers for Disease Control Prevention (CDC) HIV/AIDS prevention efforts are the responsibility of the Office of Infectious Diseases National Center for HIV/AIDS, Viral Hepatitis, STD, and TB Prevention (NCHHSTP). Within this Center is the “Division of HIV/AIDS Prevention (DHAP)”, charged with the mission of preventing HIV infection and reducing the incidence of HIV-related illness and death. Their website includes the latest information on HIV treatment, testing, research and statistics, amongst others.
- The New York State Department of Health AIDS Institute website has updated information on HIV/AIDS for consumers and providers.
- Help Stop the Virus is a website with information about prevention, testing and treatment of HIV. Disponible en español.
- The Body is an HIV/AIDS resource site that gives basic information on HIV/AIDS, treatments, updates and news of current events, as well as a blog and “ask experts” section.
- PrEP for Sex is New York State’s Department of Health’s resource website for people interested in learning more about PrEP.
