At Pre-Operative Services we help prepare patients for a successful and safe hospital experience. The Pre-operative team works with patients to identify and modify risk factors to ensure the best possible outcome and to prevent last minute delays and cancellation of surgery.
The pre-operative team is led by Dr. Deborah Richman
The team is composed of:
Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants who perform pre-operative history and physical examinations, anesthesia assessments and provide patient education.
Registered Nurses who are responsible for patient education and collating patient information, consults, consents, and test results for delivery to the operating room staff.
Clinical Assistants who perform all necessary lab work & ECGs.
Clerical Staff who manage appointments and registration information.
Anesthesiologists who are physicians providing anesthesia care and perioperative pain management.
