Treatment of Abnormal Uterine Bleeding

Abnormal uterine bleeding is one of the most frequent complaints of the gynecological patient. 

In response to this problem, the physicians at South Bay OB/GYN have received specialized training in the treatment of this common disorder. 

Advances in diagnostic information obtained from procedures such as sonohysterography and office hysteroscopy make trips to the operating room a less common occurrence. 

Minimally invasive surgical techniques such as laparoscopy, operative hysteroscopy and endometrial ablation have replaced some of the more invasive and debilitating procedures of the past. 

As part of our commitment to this problem, our staff actively participates in the teaching and credentialing of other physicians in the community in these techniques.
